Cancer patients in our region are postponing lifesaving treatment due to a lack of necessary housing and transportation. But hope is on the horizon.
We at The Price Group produced an advertising and public relations campaign to help the American Cancer Society raise funds for Hope Lodge Lubbock. The campaign includes TV, radio, newspaper and an extensive PR media push. An example of the TV spots can be seen above.
Each year, Hope Lodge Lubbock will offer 11,680 free housing nights to an estimated 2,200 patients traveling to Lubbockâs health care facilities. Cancer patients will save an estimated $1.3 million annually in hotel expenses.
Thanks to generous donors, the Society is within 5 percent of raising the $11 million needed to build Hope Lodge Lubbock. The Society must raise the remaining 5 percent by Sept. 30.
